Long ago this area was home to the indigenous Gadigal people but the land was claimed by European settlers in 1788. From The Rocks we have a stunning view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Travel through Chinatown, right in the heart of Sydney. The area captures the excitement of Asian street life. It has a bright and lively atmosphere and full of restaurants, noodle-bars and bargain shopping. Arrive at Mrs Macquarie's Chair for a photo stop and witness superb views of the city skyline, Opera House, Bridge and Harbour. Not to be missed is the Royal Australian Naval Base at Garden Island, Sydney Tower and Sydney Town Hall. Sample the atmosphere as we drive through Kings Cross, with its buskers, coffee shops and clubs. Drive through the exclusive suburbs of Double Bay and Vaucluse before visiting The Gap, with its stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the Heads.
